Kristien is primarily active in family law and matrimonial property law. She assists parties, among other things, in cases of relationship breakdown, where working out arrangements regarding the residence of the children, maintenance payments, and the division of assets are key aspects. The best interests of the child and the human dimension are always kept in mind.
In her capacity as an accredited family mediator, Kristien strives to guide parties towards a balanced and sustainable amicable agreement.
She completed specialized training in youth law and the supralat training, enabling her to assist minors during police interviews and before the youth court.
